Dr. Yoolim Kim
Dr. Yoolim Kim

Dr. Yoolim Kim was born in South Korea and moved to Illinois with her family when she was 10 years old. In 2001, she graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor's degree in general biology. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2006 from Southern Illinois University – School of Dental Medicine. In 2009, Dr. Kim completed her 3 year surgical residency in periodontics and implant surgery. During her residency, Dr. Kim conducted research on dental extractions and bone grafting. Upon completion of her research, she defended her thesis and was awarded a Master’s of Science in Dental Research degree from St. Louis University.

Dr. Kim served as faculty in the department of periodontics at Southern Illinois University – School of Dental Medicine for 3 years. Through presentations, Dr. Kim has educated dentists and hygienists about periodontal medicine and implant therapy. Even after joining a prestigious periodontal practice near the University of Illinois in 2009, she served as a faculty instructor in periodontics for the dental hygiene program at Parkland Community College. Her passion for knowledge and education is further reflected in her participation at several continuing education courses annually. She is also very active in the dental community through her humanitarian work.

Dr. Kim is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She achieved her board certification in 2010. Dr. Kim maintains membership in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Colorado Dental Association, and the Metro Denver Dental Association.

Dr. Kim joined Denver Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in January 2016. She resides in Lone Tree, Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering and has worked with Colorado Mission of Mercy (COMOM), Illinois Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile and the Jamaican Dental Mission Service. She also enjoys going to the movies, attending performing arts productions and traveling to visit family and friends. Dr. Kim and Dr. Richardson trained together in dental school, residency, and their master’s programs. They share a common philosophy in how they treat their patients and staff. They hope to treat everyone with compassion and respect, and strive to serve patients with the best care possible.

Dr. Raffi Leblebijian
Dr. Raffi Leblebijian

Dr. Raffi Leblebijian has been practicing family and cosmetic dentistry in Chicago for over 30 years. He was raised in Chicago and graduated from Chicago Public Schools. He then received his B.S. from Loyola University in Chicago and later graduated from Loyola University Dental School. He has a passion for life-long learning as he has graduated from the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies (L.V.I.) and never stops learning by constantly attending seminars.

Dr. Raffi, as he is affectionately known, has received several professional honors and awards. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the Illinois State, Chicago and Chicago Dental Societies. He recently served as a President of the Chicago chapter. Dr. Raffi is always vibrant with warm compassion and is always helping fellow clinicians by sharing his expertise in dentistry.

Dr. Rachel Davis
Dr. Rachel Davis

Dr. Rachel Davis is a General Dentist practicing in all areas of dentistry. A graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, Dr. Davis began work as a dental assistant and lab technician for her father during her school years before immediately transitioning to a full-time General Dentist position working alongside her father at a respected dental center upon graduation. After two years, she purchased the practice and became the owner of the new Davis Dental Center in Louisville, Kentucky. She has grown the practice to three full time dentists and three full time hygienists with still more room to grow. She is passionate about new technology and techniques and has one of the most modern offices in the area with digital charting and x-rays, 3D x-rays (CT scans), CAD/CAM technology (same day crowns), laser therapy and implant dentistry (placement, restoring and maintenance) - to name a few. Dr. Rachel is passionate about all aspects Implant Dentistry from simple one tooth replacement to full mouth rehabilitation incorporating all the newest technologies of guided surgery and complex grafting procedures. She also offers all types of sedation to her patients, ranging from nitrous (laughing gas), light sedation (valium or Xanax with nitrous), conscious sedation and IV sedation (with a nurse anesthetist). Dr. Rachel’s strong commitment to the dental profession is evident in her extensive volunteer experience, and has been highlighted in publications, leadership awards, and service awards. Dr. Rachel is married to her office manager Chris and they have two amazing daughters that will hopefully continue the tradition of dentistry.

Tanya Berndt RN, RDH
Tanya Berndt RN, RDH

Tanya is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1998. She then went back to pursue a Dental Hygiene degree from Kennedy-King/UIC in 2004. Starting as an assistant prior to college, she now has over 25 years of experience in the dental field and have worked in several capacities providing preventative and therapeutic services to the public. With having a background in Nursing Science, she strongly believes in educating patients of the relationship between oral pathogens and their impact within the entire body. Our dentition and all of the supporting structures are very important to Tanya and she takes great pride in being a health care professional. She was born and still lives and works in the great city of Chicago. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her husband, Robert, their two amazing children Nicholas and Gabriella, along with their loving dogs named Noel and Coco.
